This year they also developed booklets such as “Newell’s Design & Formula Guide” a tool for the industry to make sure you are making a profit on your designs.
In 2006 Tom & Pam expanded GiftBasketSchool.com to include yet their largest and most loved Gift Basket Products by hand picking a line of over 200 products for gift basket professionals to use their designs at affordable "one case at a time" which includes shipping on most products. These are products Tom & Pam love and have taken special care in representing to you. They Broker these products and love doing for you. They continue to Educate, write articles, Develop new products for the industry, teach seminars, consult, represent wholesale products, and love life working together for the industry.
Tom & Pam Newell have taught seminars at Atlanta Mart, Columbus Gift Mart, Western New York gift Mart, Minneapolis gift Mart, Kansas City Gift Mart, Pittsburgh Gift Mart, Denver Gift Mart, Nashville, Las Vegas Jubilee, Cincinnati – Jubilee, Chicago- Basket Connection, Aces – New Orleans, Aces – St. Petersburg, Tradeshows, Temporary Shows, & Personal Consulting.
Tom & Pam have been on the advisory board for Gift Basket Review, Columbus Gift Mart, Country Life, ACES, Columbus Retail Asso, and more. They have had articles written about them and their business both local and national, Cleveland Candy Magazine, Gift Basket Review, Rave Review, Columbus Times, Gift Ware Magazine, Gourmet News, Repository, Akron Beacon, Plain Dealer, & Record Courier. They have appeared on TV 8 and TV3 morning show and news for their Design ability. They have been National Design Winners and nominated for designer of the year 5 times. Award winners for Ohio & Stark County Business of the year and nominated for Ernest Young award 3 years in a row. Tom & Pam are active in the retail, coffee, and gift basket industry and will continue for years to come.

Tom and Pam Newell, "The Pioneers Of The Gift Basket Industry", are successful gift basket business owners, nationally known seminar leaders, & Gift Basket Product Specialists.
They started their relationship with the gift basket industry in 1979 when they opened their home-based business, Baskets To Go. In 1982 they added a warehouse to support their growing commercial accounts. In 1993 they established an additional retail location that included an Espresso Stop Coffee House & Bakery. By 1997 these operations, which included the Gift Basket Shop, Coffee Shop, Warehouse, Bakery and Corporate Offices doubled in size. In June of 2001 they opened their new international company, BasketFanFare®. That new company was housed in a 7500 Sq. Ft. Corporate Office, Bakery, and Warehouse location. In 2004 BasketFanfare moved to West Tuscarawas Street, Canton, Ohio to provide a better storefront location.
Since 2004, being the innovators that they are, Tom & Pam also founded GiftBasketSchool.com. GiftBasketSchool.com has a wealth of information to include Gift Basket School Tradeshow & Seminar Schedules, a store with over 200 Gift Basket products, free marketing calendars, and GiftBasketSchool.com newsletter subscriptions that is conveniently accessible to gift basket professionals throughout the world.
